With the shift to the online setting, the crowd’s favorite, Lasallian Sports Athletic League (LSAL), goes online through co-op PC games labeled as the new Lasallian Esports Gaming Oracle (LEGO). In the past years, LSAL has been the home sports tournament of Lasallians as hosted by the Industrial Management Engineering Society (IMES). From team sports like volleyball and basketball to an esports tournament, IMES continues to ignite the competitive spirit of the students, alumni, and professors through its rebranded image: LEGO.

In its second year, LEGO makes its comeback with the Viridis Arcus: the official esports organization of De La Salle University. This esports online competition is now open to all members of the Lasallian community nationwide while having the goal of promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship across the participating teams. From May 19 to 28, 2022, players will compete in the famous computer game: Valorant.

Over 80 players are anticipated to defy their limits to reach one goal – to be the champions. Teams will compete in a round-robin and best of 3 formats from May 19 to 20, 2022 for the eliminations starting from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, respectively. The semifinals are targeted to be on May 21, 2022, from  2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Lastly, the battle for the third and final match-up on May 28, 2022, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Apart from these most-awaited schedules, professional shoutcasters are also expected to be seen and heard at our semifinals and finals live stream on the IMES DLSU Facebook page, with Matthew Bautista aka ExciVous, and Nhel Gonzales aka Enou, who will take the stage to commentate on the entire course of the competition.

On top of it all, a tournament would not be complete without cash prizes. A total of Php 19,000 is in the pool where the second runner-up, first runner-up, and champion will take home Php 3,000, Php 6,000, and Php 10,000, respectively. So, what are you waiting for? It is not too late for your squad to join this tournament and defy your limits!
